Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts and Deaf West Theatre (DWT), the performing arts organizations behind the Tony Award-nominated and Ovation Award-winning revival of Spring Awakening, reunite to bring multiple Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright Edward Albee's At Home at the Zoo to life in an innovative and new production. Edward Albee's At Home at the Zoo begins previews on March 7 and will open in the Lovelace Studio Theater at The Wallis on Friday, March 10. It will run through March 26. This production is made possible by the generous support of Meeghan and Michael Nemeroff.

Pear Theatre continues its season with Arthur Miller's classic, "A View from the Bridge," with timely reminders about the realities of illegal immigration, of jealousy born from fear, and the dangers of acting on self-destructive impulse. "A View from the Bridge," directed by Ray Renati, previews on March 9. Press and Opening Night is Friday, March 10, followed by a champagne gala. The show runs Thursdays through Sundays, throughApril 2. 4th Wall Theatre Company launches its inaugural play reading festival, 4th Wall Reads:  Women's Voices.  Running March 2nd - March 12th at STUDIO 101, the festival showcases five exceptional female playwrights, including Pulitzer Prize finalist and renowned playwright Theresa Rebeck who is headlining the event.  The five plays, which are new to Houston audiences and range from insightful comedies to hard-hitting dramas, will be read twice over the 10-day festival with each reading to be followed by moderated talk-backs.  All general admission tickets are Pay What You Can, with a limited number of reserved seats available for advance purchase.

Unison Media has announced Season 2 of its acclaimed concert series The Crypt Sessions, featuring intimate classical music and opera performances in the remarkable Crypt chapel underneath the Church of the Intercession in Harlem.

The works of artist Emilio Sanchez (1921-1999) will be on view at the Lowe Art Museum in a first-time exhibition entitled Emilio Sanchez in South Florida Collections, opening February 9, 2017. The exhibition will include nearly four dozen works by the prolific Cuban artist and remains on view through May 21, 2017.

The Rose Art Museum at Brandeis University and The Baltimore Museum of Art (BMA), in cooperation with the U.S. Department of State's Bureau of Education and Cultural Affairs, will present Mark Bradford as the representative for the United States at La Biennale di Venezia 57th International Art Exhibition, on view from May 13 to November 26, 2017. Los Angeles-based Bradford, a leading light in contemporary art, will create new works in a variety of media-presented alongside existing work-for Tomorrow Is Another Day, co-curated by Christopher Bedford, BMA Dorothy Wagner Wallis Director and commissioner for the project; and Katy Siegel, BMA Senior Programming and Research Curator.

Prince's Paisley Park in Chanhassen, Minnesota has announced plans for an enhanced tour experience throughout the month of April, titledPrince4Ever, which will uniquely celebrate and honor the iconic life and legacy of Prince Rogers Nelson as the world marks the first anniversary of his passing. Throughout the entire month, fans visiting Paisley Park will be welcomed into Prince's legendary creative sanctuary to experience new immersive audio-visual content that will bring a heightened sense of presence to Prince throughout the tour experience, showcasing rarely seen video footage, audio clips and artifacts in the exhibition spaces. In addition, fans touring Paisley Park throughout the month will be welcomed to participate in a special photo project honoring Prince. All visitors will be offered a chance to have their photo taken in a special candle-lit setting on-site at Paisley Park.  The photos taken prior to April 21st will be integrated into a special video that will be premiered online on that date. The Prince4EverPaisley Park tour experience will be available exclusively throughout the month of April to fans on both the General Admission and VIP tours. Theatre in the Round Players (TRP) continues its 65th season with A View from the Bridge, in weekend performances from January 13 through February 5. 

Peter Stark's best-selling bookASTORIA: John Jacob Astor and Thomas Jefferson's Lost Pacific Empire; A Story of Wealth, Ambition, and Survival comes to life on stage at The Armory in a world premiere production directed and adapted by Chris Coleman. Astoria: Part One is the first world premiere to debut as part of the company's new Northwest Stories series. An icon of the American theater, Arthur Miller has enriched the world stage with numerous classics including Death of a Salesman, All My Sons, The Crucible, and A Streetcar Named Desire. Directed by FSU/Asolo Conservatory first-year acting professor, Andrei Malaev-Babel, A VIEW FROM THE BRIDGE previews in the Cook Theatre at the FSU Center for Performing Arts on Today, December 27 at 7:30pm with a special 'Pay What You Can Performance,' officially opens on Wednesday, December 28 at 7:30pm, and runs through Sunday, January 15.

Yerba Buena Center for the Arts (YBCA) presents Clas/sick Hip Hop, three evenings of hip hop dance and music with an energetic double bill now in its third iteration. The evening opens with Amy O'Neal's Opposing Forces, featuring breakdancing, dance battles, and intimate duets by five world-class B-Boys, followed by twelve unique Bay Area bands paying homage to Grammy award winner Lauryn Hill's critically acclaimed hip hop album with a night of covers and reinterpretations in UnderCover Presents: A Tribute to The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill.
