Over the past five years, Opera Philadelphia has presented no fewer than nine world premieres, scoring multiple awards and winning international audience and critical recognition. Jon Culshaw will star as 'Bill Bryson' in a brand-new stage production of Bryson's award-winning memoir NOTES FROM A SMALL ISLAND adapted by BAFTA and Olivier Award winning playwright Tim Whitnall. Directed by the Watermill's Artistic Director Paul Hart, the production will have its world premiere in Newbury on Thursday 24 September and play until Saturday 31 October, with a national press night on Monday 28 September. The Madison Square Garden Company (NYSE: MSG) announced today that a ninth show has been added to Ali Wong's upcoming Beacon Theatre residency on Friday, April 24, 2020. Wong, the first female comedian to have a residency at the Beacon Theatre, has sold out all eight previously announced shows at the legendary venue.
