The McCallum Theatre announced today its new lineup for the 2019-2020 season, continuing to present the finest world-class artists and entertainers for Coachella Valley audiences.  The new season includes McCallum debuts, returning favorites, iconic superstars, family-friendly entertainment and holiday cheer, among so much more. A CHRISTMAS STORY, WAITRESS and THE PLAY THAT GOES WORING are among the many Broadway offerings in what looks to be the most stellar season in McCallum history.

The University of Washington's Meany Center for the Performing Arts, under the leadership of Executive and Artistic Director Michelle Witt, announces its 2019/20 Season with a lineup of 23 adventurous and visionary artists from around the globe. One of the nation's leading university presenters, Meany Center brings artists of exceptional artistry and diverse perspectives to Seattle, providing extraordinary performances and unique learning experiences to both community and campus. The 2019/20 Season explores the theme of empathy in the arts and celebrates the 250th anniversary of the birth of Ludwig van Beethoven, an artist whose life and work resonates with the season's theme. The new season will also feature work by two Creative Research Fellows participating in the UW's Creative Fellowships Initiative, choreographer Brian Brooks and performance artist Daniel Alexander Jones.

For its final concerts of the 2018-2019 season, New Amsterdam Singers, led by Music Director Clara Longstreth, will present music with roots in Argentina and Spain, featuring Misa a Buenos Aires/Misatango for chorus, strings, bandoneon, and piano by Argentine-born Martín Palmeri; two works by Astor Piazzolla from his cycle, Four Seasons of Buenos Aires; and Mario Castelnuovo-Tedesco's Romancero Gitano for chorus and guitar, on poetry by Federico Garcia Lorca. The concerts will take place Thursday, May 16, at 8:00 p.m., and Sunday, May 19, 2019, at 3:00 p.m., at The Church of the Holy Trinity, 316 East 88th Street (between First and Second Avenues).

INTAR (Lou Moreno, Artistic Director/John McCormack, Executive Director) and Radio Drama Network (Melina Brown, President) today announced the cast for the World Premiere of Then They Forgot About the Rest, a new play by Georgina Escobar, directed by David Mendizabal. Performances will begin April 13th for a limited Off-Broadway engagement through May 12th. Opening Night is set for April 22nd.

Music Director Osmo V nsk and the Grammy Award-winning Minnesota Orchestra today unveiled plans for the ensemble's 2019-20 season, which runs from September 2019 to June 2020, and includes Classical, Holiday, Live at Orchestra Hall, Chamber Music, Music and Mindfulness, Young People's Concerts, and Sensory-Friendly and Relaxed Family Concerts.

Berkeley Repertory Theatre today announced the full cast for the world premiere of Kiss My Aztec! John Leguizamo teams up with Artistic Director Tony Taccone for this musical comedy, following their collaboration on the hit one-man show Latin History for Morons, which received its world premiere at Berkeley Rep before heading to Broadway. Leguizamo will serve as co-writer and co-lyricist only for Kiss My Aztec! - 11 other talented actors will perform in this production. Taccone will also direct.

New Orleans Ballet Association (NOBA) presents the return of the iconic Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater (AAADT) for two main stage performances on March 22 and 23 at 8 p.m. at the Mahalia Jackson Theater.

Pipeline Theatre Company has announced full casting for the world premiere of jazz concert-party-play hybrid Playing Hot, created by Kevin Armento (Balls) and Jaki Bradley (1969: The Second Man). Playing Hot is written by Armento and C.A. Johnson (Thirst), will be directed by Bradley, and will feature musical supervision by Marcus Miller. Playing Hot will begin previews at Theater 511 (511 West 54th Street) on April 18, 2019, and officially open on May 2, playing a limited engagement through May 12, 2019. Oregon Ballet Theatre ROAR(S) into its 30th Anniversary Season featuring a powerhouse line-up which opens on October 5, 2019.

In the second concert of its 51st season, New Amsterdam Singers (NAS) will perform Brahms's popular Zigeunerlieder (Gypsy Songs), along with choral works by Haydn, Mendelssohn, Wolf, and recent pieces by contemporary American composers Carol Barnett and Robert S. Cohen. The concert will take place Today, March 8, 2019, at 8:00 p.m., at Broadway Presbyterian Church, Broadway at 114th Street.

The Ford Theatres today announced the 2019 season of events at the John Anson Ford Theatres. The 2019 season will open on Saturday, April 27 with The Spring Quartet: Jack DeJohnette, Joe Lovano, Esperanza Spalding and Leo Genovese, who The Arts Desk described as "an expansive, freewheeling rampage, ideas flying out like sparks from a roaring fire," and will conclude on October 19 and 20 with a Dia de los Muertos Concert and Community Celebration. Abrons Arts Center (AAC), the Lower East Side arts institution that has long been a nexus of creative communities and local cultures, is pleased to announce its 2019-2020 Jerome Foundation AIRspace Residents, a group of four interdisciplinary artists engaged in the fields of visual arts, performing arts, and social practices. In addition, Abrons is launching its first-ever Promoting the Arts Throughout Henry Street (PATHS) residency program, selecting four artists for the program's inaugural cohort.

Japan's internationally acclaimed drumming phenomenon Kodo makes their highly anticipated return to the Toronto stage with One Earth Tour: Evolution, March 21, 2019 at Sony Centre for the Performing Arts.
