Meet all of the Broadway actors in THE GILDED AGE! San Francisco’s Landmark Musical Theatre has announced the titles for the Company’s upcoming in-person 2021-2022 season.

The Fred Ebb Foundation in association with the Roundabout Theatre Company announced today that applications for the seventeenth annual Fred Ebb Award for aspiring musical theatre songwriters are now available. Applications will be accepted from June 1 - June 30, 2021. The winner will be selected in November of 2021.

The criteria are that these shows have been nominated for Best Musical from the 3rd Tony Awards (the ceremony that started the Best Musical category) in 1949 to the nominations of what will now be the 74th Tony Awards in 2021. I will be determining their signs based upon their Broadway premiere date. With those rules in mind, here we go!

Kaufman Music Center’s virtual Broadway Close Up performances will continue this spring with two intimate lecture-concerts exploring the lives, careers and music of Kay Swift and one of the longest-running collaborations in show business history, Fred Ebb and John Kander.

With Women in Theatre Through the Decades, we will be highlighting the vital role that women have played in theatre history, showcasing those who paved the way and who continue to make history today. This week, we are highlighting the accomplishments of women in theatre throughout the 1980s and the 1990s!

Unmasked: The Music of Andrew Lloyd Webber begins performances Thursday, January 30, 2020, and will continue through Sunday, March 1, 2020 at Paper Mill Playhouse (22 Brookside Drive, Millburn, NJ). The award, named in honor of the late award-winning lyricist Fred Ebb, was presented by Kate Baldwin on Monday, December 2nd from 6-8pm at a by-invitation-only ceremony in the Penthouse Lounge of The American Airlines Theater.

Words On Dance returns to the New York stage with two evenings featuring conversations with luminaries of dance, theater and film. The programs, Oct. 21 and Nov. 11, are presented in association with Symphony Space, the performing arts center at 2537 Broadway at 95th Street.

Artistic Directors Douglas Aibel and Sarah Stern announce that Irina Dvorovenko ('The Americans'), a former American Ballet Theatre principal dancer, Tony Award nominees Tony Yazbeck (ON THE TOWN, FINDING NEVERLAND) and Peter Friedman (RAGTIME, The Vineyard's THE SLUG BEARERS OF KAYROL ISLAND...), and Teagle F.
