THE BLACK BOX, the Metro-West region's premier theater, music, and event venue, will present a?oeWine and Cheese,a?? an evening featuring a delicious wine tasting paired with the cheesiest songs ever written. a?oe Wine and Cheesea?? will star La Cantina Winery, Smith Cheeses, and Franklin Performing Arts Company entertainers led by host Nick Paone.  Admission includes a wine tasting, cheese and charcuterie, sweets, and entertainment. Glasses of wine and other beverages will be available at intermission to enjoy during the second part of the performance.

Koo Koo Kanga Roo, an internationally touring comedic dance-pop duo, kicks off their fall tour this week with shows in Indianapolis, Chicago and Detroit. The duo will open for the Aquabats and headline dates in several cities around the midwest, east and south during September and October. They will also perform two sets during the Austin City Limits Festival on October 5th and 6th, when they will celebrate the release of a new single and music video called 'Glitter.'

After an extensive selection process, the Alliance Theatre named the three Atlanta area middle schools they will partner with for the regional launch of The JumpStart Theatre program, developed by the Educational Theatre Association. JumpStart Theatre is a three-year program that will equip faculty and administrators with the skills and resources to produce their school's first musical theatre production.

The KVB have announced a fall North American tour. The newly announced dates will be the band's debut North American tour and are rescheduled from this spring's shows which were cancelled due to reasons beyond the band's control. All tickets purchased will be transferred to the new dates and any ticket refunds will be available from the point of purchase. The KVB will be touring in support of their new Submersion EP, which will be released digitally on October 4 and available as a limited edition tour exclusive vinyl. The EP is comprised of two unreleased tracks from the Only Now Forever recording sessions, along with three remixes/alternate versions of tracks from the album. The upcoming tour will kick off in San Diego and includes shows in Los Angeles, Phoenix, Atlanta, Brooklyn, Philadelphia and includes festival performances at Desert Daze and Levitation. A diverse collection of short films made by children will be showcased during the 2nd Annual Just Be You Performing Arts Youth Film Festival on Thursday, August 29, 2019, at the Rahway Public Library, 2 City Hall Plaza, Rahway, New Jersey. From 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. in the library's auditorium room. Children all over the world submitted films to this youth driven film festival. The festival is free for kids and teens.
