Casting has been revealed for ‘Honk!’ the award-winning musical by George Stiles and Anthony Drewe which will be staged open-air against the stunning backdrop of Ely’s most iconic landmark, Ely Cathedral.

The black box theatre space at Bridgetown Conservatory will once again ring with the sounds of teen performers rehearsing a musical production - live and in-person! Just So, a musical by Anthony Drewe and George Stiles written in 1984 based on the 'Just So Stories' by Rudyard Kipling. Stiles and Drewe are the creative forces behind the well-known Honk! and Broadway's Mary Poppins.

Beck Center for the Arts  has announced the virtual production of Honk! JR,  Available for convenient streaming May 20 to May 23, 2021, this adaptation of the beloved fable of The Ugly Duckling focuses on creativity and compassion.

Identical, the world premiere of a 'Twin-sational' new musical, destined for London's West End, is based on the novel The Parent Trap by Erich Kästner, which inspired Disney films featuring Hayley Mills in 1961 and Lindsay Lohan in 1998. It tells the story of twin girls separated at birth, reunited by chance at a summer camp 10 years later. In an attempt to re-join their divorced parents, they decide to exchange identities.

Soho Cinders, with Music by George Stiles and Lyrics by Anthony Drewe (the multi award-winning writers of the Olivier award-winning National Theatre hit Honk!, who also created a new score for the international smash-hit Cameron Mackintosh/Disney production of Mary Poppins) with Book by Anthony Drewe and Elliot Davis, will run nine weeks at London's Charing Cross Theatre from Thursday 24 October to Saturday 21 December, 2019.

Kids of all ages can explore the underwater kingdom of Atlantis during the WST for Kids' production of Disney's THE LITTLE MERMAID, JR. Based on and adapted from the Academy Award-winning 1989 Disney movie and Broadway production, this hour-long musical will appear on the Walnut Mainstage beginning September 21 and now extended through October 6, 2019.

Amazon today announced that a series of stand-up specials featuring Australian comedians will be filmed in Melbourne this September and premiere exclusively on Prime Video in early 2020. The specials will include a talented roster of award-winning and nominated comedians, and be made available to Prime members around the world in more than 200 countries and territories. The new specials will include performances by Lano & Woodley, Zoë Coombs Marr, Judith Lucy, Tommy Little, Anne Edmonds, Tom Walker, Celia Pacquola, Dilruk Jayasinha, Alice Fraser and Tom Gleeson.

Deadline reports that Amazon Prime has announced a slate of ten new Australian stand-up specials that will premiere on the streamer in early 2020.

The Alliance Theatre in Atlanta announced today casting for its upcoming world premiere BECOMING NANCY. Based on the best-selling British novel by Terry Ronald, this new musical is directed and choreographed by two-time Tony Award® winner Jerry Mitchell (Kinky Boots, Hairspray), with a book by Elliot Davis (Peter Pan, Loserville), and a score by the songwriting team of George Stiles (Music) and Anthony Drewe (Lyrics) (Mary Poppins, Peter Pan, Honk!). BECOMING NANCY will open the Alliance Theatre's 51st season on its newly renovated Coca-Cola Stage, September 6 - October 6, 2019. Opening Night is Wednesday, September 18.
