The highly anticipated Broadway revival of Funny Girl is beginning performances tonight, March 26, at the August Wilson Theatre, ahead of an official opening on April 24. Meet the cast bringing this iconic show back to the stage!

Composer, producer, vocalist and Rome Prize-winner Lisa Bielawa will have three major new works  premiered in Washington, DC (Washington National Cathedral, March 13), New York (Carnegie Hall, March 25), and the Boston area (First Cambridge Church, April 2), performed by the Cathedral Choral Society and Orchestra, American Composers Orchestra (ACO), and the Radcliffe Choral Society with the Boston Modern Orchestra Project (BMOP), respectively.

The New York Philharmonic has announced its spring 2020 education programs: Young People's Concerts, including one tied to Project 19, the Philharmonic's celebration of the centennial of the 19th Amendment through 19 commissions by women composers; Very Young People's Concerts; New York Philharmonic Very Young Composers Program, expanding to Brooklyn; four free concerts as part of the New York Philharmonic Youth Mentorship Program; and Musicians from the New York Philharmonic performing a free concert for individuals with dementia and their caregivers as part of Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts's Lincoln Center Moments.

Love Quirks, A New Musical Fable will be making its Off-Broadway premiere in an open-ended run at St. Luke's Theatre (307 West 46thSt.) later this month. Based on actual events, Love Quirks spotlights a group of thirty-somethings (gay and straight), as they explore the bizarre tribulations of love, friendship, and all the blurry lines in-between. The production features an original score of quirky, neurotic, and poignant songs by composer/lyricist Seth Bisen-Hersh and a script by Mark Childers filled with laughter, pathos, and an abundance of sexual tension. The French Institute Alliance Fran aise (FIAF), New York's premier French cultural and language center, today announced the 2019 Crossing the Line Festival, featuring 11 performances and a gallery exhibition from a geographically, generationally, and artistically diverse group of artists whose work transcends genres and boundaries. All performances are world, US, or New York premieres; they are united by their convention-breaking fearlessness as they confront topics from social injustice to personal demons.
