China Plate's invigorating one-day festival of theatrical talent from the Midlands returns to the Warwick Arts Centre this April. From family-friendly theatre about a yeti to a full-length evening show about concealing the truth, the festival celebrates the best in new and established theatre-making from across the region.

Award-winning actor/director Frank Ferrante re-creates his acclaimed New York and London stage portrayal celebrating America's greatest comedian - Groucho Marx.  You will feel as though Groucho is back, as Ferrante sings, dances and performs classic routines on the North Coast Rep stage, May 2nd & 3rd, 2022 at 7:30pm.

Shoot Festival will return this year with a mix of commissioned pieces and showcases of the best of Coventry’s early-career arts scene. The festival’s ‘In Bloom’ strand features artists from past editions of Shoot Festival who have been commissioned to create new work.

In 1962 English author Anthony Burgess published the Dystopian-Black Comedy novel entitled A Clockwork Orange. The novel itself was partially written in a Russian-influence argot called “Nadsat” which in a Russian suffix took on its namesake for the equivalent of “TEEN” in English. In 2005 the novel was included by Time Magazine in a list as one of the 100 best English Language novels of the 20th Century. The novel is divided into three parts: Alex’s World, Ludovico Technique, and After Prison, and each of the novel’s three parts contained only 7 chapters. 7 x 3= 21 which was an intentional nod to the age of 21 which is considered a milestone in adult maturation.

La Jolla Playhouse has announced several initial projects for its 2022 Without Walls (WOW) Festival. The WOW Festival will take place April 21 – 24 at ARTS DISTRICT Liberty Station, home of the Playhouse’s 2019 WOW Festival and the Pop-Up WOW event in August 2021.

In January 2022, violinist Sean Lee and pianist Peter Dugan celebrate Paganini in the first ever performance of all 24 Caprices in the Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center's 52-year history as well as the release of a new EP of nine Caprices with accompanying music videos.

Running November 26th - December 11th at Avon Players is It's a Wonderful Life: A Live Radio Play, which is a unique take on the beloved story.

Live theatre is officially back and Concord Theatricals is celebrating! 'There's No Business Like Show Business' is a digital celebration that launched just last month, marking the return of live theater and all of the incredible people who help to make it happen. When the theater's 2021 season comes to a close, Artistic Director Greg Vinkler will step down from administrative duties and retire. Linda Fortunato, a dedicated company member of 17 seasons at Peninsula Players, has been appointed associate artistic director and will work alongside Vinkler throughout the 2021 season.
