For the second year, Freeform opens its ghoulish gates to Freeform's Halloween House, an interactive experience in the heart of Hollywood and the ultimate destination for Halloween lovers. Bringing cult classics to life including “Hocus Pocus,” “Tim Burton's The Nightmare Before Christmas,” “The Addams Family” and other fan-favorite movies from Freeform's “31 Nights of Halloween” programming stunt, the network will transform the historic Hollywood Athletic Club into an immersive, multiroom Halloween sanctuary. Open to the public from WEDNESDAY, OCT. 2, through MONDAY, OCT. 7, the limited time encounter will bring back buzzed-about photo opportunities, as well as new activations that will surely give guests the chills. In celebration of the 25th anniversary edition of King of California, out June 28 on Craft Recordings, acclaimed Los Angeles-based artist Dave Alvin will embark on a 22-date U.S. tour beginning June 11, with an intimate conversation and performance at GRAMMY Museum in Los Angeles. Dave will share the stage with special guest and King of California producer Greg Liesz on nine dates, seven of which are already sold out, two new dates have been added in the Northwest. In 2015, singer/songwriting phenom Ariana Gillis was, as they say, going places, until a chance accident sidelined her career. Winner of numerous awards in her native Canada, including the Canadian Folk Music Award, her life was devastated by a bizarre incident. Her collision with a car door caused a rare form of concussion which was not diagnosed until much later, rendering her unable to work or perform. A devastating injury can lead to the early end of a career, something Gillis had a lot of time to contemplate, but fortunately she was able to continue, ultimately.

Griffin House has come a long way from his early days in Nashville, selling t-shirts and postcards at a souvenir shop on the city's famed neon-clad Lower Broadway, and his new album reflects on every step of his journey from then to now. Now 16 years into his life in Nashville, House will release his 12th album, Rising Star, on June 28th. House also stars in the full-length documentary film Rising Star, set for release this year; co-produced with music video director and filmmaker Shane Drake, the film chronicles House's life as a musician and features music from his new album as well as his previous catalog.
