FUSSY CLOUD PUPPET SLAM VOLUME 31: SLAM SAVE AMERICA to Return This Summer
The puppet slam competition will take place at a Seattle venue with local and national performers.
In a time of uncertainty and division, one heroic institution dares to ask the question: what if puppets could save America? This July 3rd and 4th, Fussy Cloud Puppet Slam Volume 31: Slam Save America! returns to Theatre Off Jackson with another puppet variety show of handmade chaos dedicated to preserving the very soul of the nation. This all-new edition of Fussy Cloud Puppet Slam celebrates the grand American tradition of screaming into the void (but with puppets!) The event will run Friday, July 3rd & Saturday, July 4th.
Returning to the podium is the dazzling Tootsie Spangles, our master of ceremonies and self-appointed Secretary of Shenanigans, who leads the audience through the evening's show with charm and questionable life advice. Each short-form act brings its own unique vision of patriotic delusion and handcrafted spectacle.

Slam Save America! Peers into what's broken in our Country, and uses the healing art of puppetry to mend us all. Laugh at the dream realized: Mungo eating degenerate American politicians; Cry from the beauty of psychic connection that binds women and femmes around the world; and see our world in flames through (shadow) puppet eyes. Freedom may not be free, but puppet shows are pretty affordable!
