A series of one-off readings from the world of Charles Dickens, featuring Frank Skinner, Paul Foot, Elf Lyons, Ahir Shah, Gail Porter, Brian Bilston, Lorna Rose Treen, Mark Steel, John Kearns, Bebe Cave and Sanjeev Kohli among others. Each performance brings a different Dickens story, scene or character to life, from A Christmas Carol to The Chimes and A Tale of Two Cities. The show also marks Assembly Festival's historic connection to Dickens through Artistic Director William Burdett-Coutts' ancestor Angela Burdett-Coutts, a close friend and collaborator of the author.
