Blending jazz, blues, soul, and classic standards with deeply personal storytelling,Darwin Del Fabro Sings Torch Songsexplores love, longing, heartbreak, resilience, identity, and the healing power of music. Featuring songs made famous by legendary artists including Etta James, Billie Holiday, Nina Simone, Patti LuPone, Shirley Bassey, and Barbra Streisand, alongside music that has profoundly shaped her own artistic journey, Darwin creates a deeply personal musical experience. Known for her emotional honesty and striking vocal interpretations, Darwin brings a fresh perspective to each song, weaving together music and stories from her own life into an unforgettable evening of vulnerability, strength, and timeless melodies. Darwin wrote, produced, and starred inLili/Darwin, a play she premiered in New York before bringing the production to Italy for a new run. She also appeared inThey/Them, the Blumhouse Productions film directed by John Logan, now streaming on Peacock. Since moving to New York, she has appeared inA Midsummer Night’s Dreamwith the Juneberry Collective,The Feather Doesn’t Fall Far From The Wingat Signature Theatre, andRealat The Tank. Darwin has released multiple albums, includingBe Careful, It’s My Heart,Darwin Del Fabro in Rio,Darwin Del Fabro: Revisiting Jobim,Revisiting Jobim 2, andDarwin Del Fabro: Revisiting Elis Regina, honoring the legendary Brazilian vocalist Elis Regina. In Brazil, she appeared in the original productions ofShrek The Musical,Fiddler on the Roof, andThe Wizard of Oz, as well as the acclaimed television series “Ligações Perigosas” and “Novo Mundo.” Darwin is also the founder of Madalena Productions, a production company developing work across stage, screen, and music.
