Camerata Pacifica Season Finale: California Premiere of Shostakovich's 15th Symphony at Zipper Hall, The Colburn School, Los Angeles

Camerata Pacifica closes its 36th season with the California premiere of Dmitri Shostakovich's Symphony No. 15, arranged by Viktor Derevyanko for piano trio and percussion — only the fifth performance of this arrangement in the Western Hemisphere. Featured artists include violinist Grace Park, cellist Ani Aznavoorian, pianist Gilles Vonsattel, and percussionists Ji Hye Jung, Ayano Kataoka, Svet Stoyanov, and Jason Treuting. The program also includes Thierry De Mey's Musique de Table, Kenji Bunch's Transcontinental for Violin and Percussion Quartet, and Vonsattel performing Beethoven's Piano Sonata in A Major, Op. 2, No. 2 as part of Camerata Pacifica's ongoing three-year cycle of all 32 Beethoven piano sonatas.
