The Magic Wand is a new play by PYT Artistic Director Karen Simpson and Freestyle Academy/Los Altos High School senior Ash Prodromou written expressly for recorded performance on Zoom. Ari and Finley are online playing their favorite cooperative game Might and Mages when a character in the game accidentally drops a magic wand on Ari's laptop while doing battle. What will Ari do with this new power? And what lengths will 25th level mage Melchezador go to get it back? Hilarity and hijinks ensue in this wholly original and delightful play. Both performances include a live talk back with the cast and creative team. Shows are Saturday, August 15 at 7:30 pm and Sunday, August 16 at 2:00 pm.
