RENT is Jonathan Larson's iconic rock musical that follows a diverse group of young artists and friends navigating love, loss, identity, and survival in New York City's East Village during the height of the HIV/AIDS crisis. Winner of the Pulitzer Prize for Drama and the Tony Award for Best Musical, the production features songs including Seasons of Love, Take Me or Leave Me, and La Vie Bohème. One Stage Theatre's production is directed by Lorraine VanRod and features a cast and creative team drawn from across the Bay Area. The production marks the musical's 30th anniversary since its Broadway debut in 1996.
