Lionel Bart's "Oliver!" musical version of Charles Dickens' classic "Oliver Twist," tells the tale of a misguided orphan boy in 19th century London, featuring some of the most beautiful and rousing melodies ever written for the stage. This Spreckels Theatre Company main stage production features a new, creative interpretation blending world of the actor with this classic story set in Victorian London.
The cast includes Kelly Brandeburg, Harry J. Duke, Zachary Hasbany, Tim Setzer, Peter Warden and students of Spreckels Theatre Company's "Youth In Arts" program, an intensive theater arts program for aspiring young actors.
This main stage production is presented with the new Paradyne projection system, developed by Spreckels Performing Arts Center, combining still images and animations to create multiple backdrop effects - creating a visual aesthetic that's exciting and visually surprising for audiences of the 21st Century.
As part of the City of Rohnert Park, Spreckels Theatre Company is a 501(c) (3) non-profit organization.
