Island Passions: Two One-Act Operas at Sonoma State University - Evert B. Person Theatre

Sonoma State University Departments of Music and Theatre Arts & Dance presents "Island Passions: Two One-Act Operas" from Feb.7 to Feb. 17, 2013. This double bill of comedy and tragedy features Joseph Haydn's "The Deserted Island (L' Isola Disabitata)" and "Riders to the Sea," by Ralph Vaughan Williams.
Both operas feature talented student vocalists and a full orchestra of musicians performing.
Musical direction by Lynne Morrow and stage direction by Danielle Cain.
