Smuin Contemporary Ballet opens its 2026/27 season with French Kiss, a program curated by Artistic Director Amy Seiwert featuring works by Seiwert, My'Kal Stromile and company founder Michael Smuin. The program includes Seiwert's vibrant French Kiss inspired by the music of Pink Martini, Stromile's world premiere I-SCRIT-AH-SCREE-TAH-SKRATT exploring the mind's shifting landscape, and Smuin's Stabat Mater, a meditation on grief, resilience and hope. Stromile, a Juilliard graduate, has received commissions from Ailey II, the Paris Opera Ballet and Vail Dance Festival.
