Betrayal at Marin Theatre

Harold Pinter's taut, thought-provoking drama laced with laconic wit illuminates an illicit seven-year affair told backwards and forwards in time, beginning two years after the end of the affair and ending with the first clandestine kiss. Directed by Carey Perloff, American Conservatory Theater Artistic Director Emerita and a frequent Pinter interpreter who worked several times with the late playwright. The play premiered at London's National Theatre in 1978 and later debuted on Broadway in 1980, receiving three subsequent Broadway revivals.
