Welcome to the second-annual Bay Area Musical Improv Festival, bringing together musical improvisers from around the San Francisco Bay Area and across the country for a weekend of musical improv shows, workshops, jams and parties at the All Out Comedy Theater in Oakland! Over the course of the four-day festival weekend, there will be eight shows, featuring selected performers from around the Bay Area and as far away as Chicago, Seattle, LA, Florida and Hawaii. Villain Origin Story is a fully improvised musical centered around a well known villain of the audience’s choosing. Watch as we go back in time to the Villain’s formative years to understand their original hopes and dreams and the circumstances that ultimately led them to their dark path.
