Adapted and directed by Evren Odcikin, this music-filled, fashion-forward reimagining of Shakespeare's comedy leans into the play's fluidity of gender and identity, set in a version of Arden inspired by a queer Bay Area gathering place. The cast features JeunEe Simon as Rosalind, Adam Magill as Orlando, Lisa Wolpe as Jacques, and Lady Zen as Amiens, with Lady Zen also serving as composer and music director. Additional cast includes Stevie DeMott, Dave Maier, Fatemeh Mehraban, Cathleen Riddley, David Sinaiko, and Chris Steele. The production draws a vivid contrast between the polished danger of the court and the colorful, communal world of Arden, culminating in a celebration of love in its many forms.
