Taking Over, written and performed by Danny Hoch, directed by Tony Taccone makes its world premiere at Berkeley Rep.  Taking Over is a powerful new show in which this Obie Award-winning solo performer depicts a Brooklyn neighborhood where the melting pot is boiling over with ethnic and economic tension," explain press notes. Designed by Annie Smart (scenic and costume design), Alexander V. Nichols (lighting design), and Asa Taccone and Drew Campbell (composers).

Previews on January 11 – 15; Performances on January 16 – February 10, 2008.  Show times are Tuesdays, Thursdays & Fridays at 8PM; Wednesdays at 7PM; Saturdays at 2PM & 8PM; Sundays at 2PM & 7PM. No performances on January 23 & 24, February 5. No matinees during previews or on January 19 & 27, February 2.
