Those hoping to become clowns auditioned for the Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey circus on August 3, 2010 in San Francisco, California. This one-day audition was held to recruit new clowns for the famous 'Clown Alley'. Selected clowns were given a two-year contract to perform shows in 80 cities.
