North Bay Stage Company to Donate LEADING LADIES Opening Night Proceeds to Victims of Fire

"We are partnering with Wells Fargo Center for the Arts and our sponsors to make this event possible to help those in need," says John DeGaetano, artistic director for North Bay Stage Company, a resident company. "We plan on donating 100% of our proceeds from opening night of Leading Ladies, the cross-dressing comedy caper - Friday, Oct 2 at 8pm to the victims of the fire."

DeGaetano added, "there are several that have been involved in our productions in the past that have been affected by this devastating event however we will make the donation to the general cause in helping those in need. This will include donations received and designated from the evening performance."

A little bit about the show: "There's never a dull moment in Leading Ladies by Ken Ludwig, the internationally acclaimed author of Lend Me A Tenor and Moon Over Buffalo." The story is about two English Shakespearean actors that find themselves so down on their luck that they're performing "Scenes from Shakespeare" on the Moose Lodge circuit in the Amish country of Pennsylvania. Directed by Jon Vissman, stage management by Ayrick Broin, the cast includes Keith Stevenson, Robert Zelenka, Amber Kernohan, Rebecca Allington, Thea Rhiannon, Mike Mathis, Jeffery Schmidt, and Morgan Hamilton-Lee.

The show, in a 3-week limited production runs Oct 2nd through Oct 18th. Show dates for LEADING LADIES are Oct 2, 3, 4*, 9, 10, 11*, 16, 17, 18* - 2015 (8pm, or *Sunday Matinees 2pm) at Wells Fargo Center for the Arts - East Auditorium.

Open to acts of all ages, "Got Talent" brings a two-day variety format event to Wells Fargo Center for the Arts by showcasing unique performers from across the Bay Area.
