Oceanside Theatre Company celebrated its third annual fundraiser at The Seabird Resort in Oceanside on September 21, 2024, attended by 250 guests from the San Diego theater community. Mayor Esther Sanchez honored CJ Di Mento with the inaugural Hattie "Sunshine" Brooks award, while Ralph Johnson received the Kathy Brombacher Lifetime Theatre Achievement Award for his contributions to the arts. The event featured performances from Sandy Campbell, Nio Russel, and OTC's Youth Outreach actors, with the goal of supporting the theater's diverse programming and outreach initiatives.
