Annapurna at Dumke Blackbox, Westminster University

Lil Poppet Productions presents Annapurna, written by Sharr White and directed by Matthew Ivan Bennett, at the Dumke Blackbox at Westminster University. The play follows Emma and Ulysses, an estranged couple who reunite after twenty years apart in a Colorado trailer park, where they must confront a shared past through poetry, grief, and the longevity of love. Stephanie Stroud, Lil Poppet's artistic director, plays Emma, while Westminster history professor Jeff Nichols, retiring this year after three decades at the university, plays Ulysses. The production is part of Lil Poppet's 2026 season, Wild Americana: Folktales of the American Artist, and is recommended for mature audiences due to themes of addiction and domestic instability.
