Terrace Playhouse In Ogden, Utah Holds Auditions For Beauty And The Beast 6/20

Terrace Plaza Playhouse, 99 E 4700 S, Ogden, UT will be holding auditions for their production of DISNEY'S BEAUTY AND THE BEAST on June 20, 2009 at 10:00 AM by appointment ONLY. Call 801-814-6219.

ALL PARTS: Please prepare 16 measures of an upbeat Broadway style song. NO accompanist will be provided - bring your own or a CD. NO ACAPELLA AUDITIONS.

All Roles are open - no roles for anyone under 12 years old - with the exception of one boy for the role of Chip. Call backs will be June 24 and 25 - by invitation only. Rehearsals will begin August 1 and the show runs Monday, Friday and Saturday evenings September 25 - November 13, 2009.

Step into the enchanted world of Broadway's modern classic! Based on the Academy-Award winning animated feature, the stage version of Disney's BEAUTY AND THE BEAST, you will be transported to the heart of provincial life in a lovely French town. When Maurice becomes lost in the woods on the way to the fair, he seeks shelter in an old castle, but the master of the castle is a horrible beast that takes him captive. Maurice's daughter, Belle, must then give up her freedom to save his life. Belle's taming of the unfortunate Beast and his ultimate transformation back into a handsome prince is truly a "tale as old as time."
