City Theatre at Sacramento City College presents Peter and the Starcatcher, written by Rick Elise and directed by Lori Ann DeLappe-Grondin, running May 1–17, 2026 at the Art Court Theatre. This comedic prequel to Peter Pan follows an orphan boy named Peter and a girl named Molly aboard a ship carrying a trunk of magical "star stuff," leading to swashbuckling encounters with pirates, including the villainous Black Stache, and ultimately revealing the origins of Neverland and its inhabitants. The cast features Riordan Tatum, Myah Doty, CJ Renteria, Kathleen Poe, Caitlin Brown, and many others.
