Disney's High School Musical On Stage! brings the East High story to life, following Troy, Gabriella, Sharpay, Ryan, and their classmates as they navigate friendships, cliques, auditions, basketball, academics, and the pressure to stick to the status quo. The production is presented by Fair Oaks Performing Arts Center and Valkyrie Theatre Company, licensed through Music Theatre International, and performed by middle and high school students as part of a summer musical theatre workshop. The show is known for its high-energy songs, large ensemble numbers, and themes of confidence, friendship, and discovering who you are beyond the labels people place on you. It marks the first theatrical production staged in the newly opened Fair Oaks Performing Arts Center Amphitheatre.
