American Fast by Kareem Fahmy Directed by Benjamin T. Ismail Twenty-one-year-old college basketball sensation Khady Salama makes it to March Madness, but during Ramadan, the holiest month of the year in Islamic culture. Khady must choose between observing the traditional Muslim fast or breaking it to keep herself in top shape to compete in the tournament.
