Photo Flash: First Look at Arden Playhouse's SIBLING SCHEMES

By: Jan. 09, 2014

Arden Playhouse presents Sibling Schemes, written & directed by Michael Messmer, from Jan. 24-Feb. 15. Check out a first look below!

Joanne wants her brother to give up plans to become a monk and come back to running the family business. Tad, who isn't really becoming a monk, wants his sister to leave him alone. She has hired an actress to pretend to be a sexy French maid who can get Tad to realize what he'd be missing as a monk. He has asked a college friend, who is also an actor, to pretend to be a psychiatrist treating him for stress. The actress is having to work without her contacts, is clumsy, hasn't a clue as to what she's supposed to do and gets a poison ivy rash. The college friend finds Joanne very attractive and begins to dislike using Tad's scheme on her. Stir in a housekeeper who is very serious about her job, has a tendency to be bluntly honest, resents having the useless maid around, doesn't like the scheming...yet, finds herself attracted to Tad... and you have a recipe for wild, madcap fun.

All tickets are $15 with a reservation and $18.00 at the door. (Cash or check only.) Tickets can be reserved by calling (916) 332-2582.
