B Street Theatre is pleased to announce the following plays as part of its 2009-2010 Season.
MAINSTAGE

The next production on the B Street Theatre's Main Stage will be Peter Sinn Nachtrieb's acclaimed apocalyptic comedy boom.

boom starts off with a bang when mysterious journalism student Jo arrives at a subterranean research lab in response to an online personal ad reading, ‘Sex to Change the Course of the World'. When the research lab, occupied by reclusive grad student Jules, survives a major global catastrophic event, Jo and Jules ‘date' takes on evolutionary significance while the fate of humanity hangs in the balance.

Named by Theatre Communications Group as one of the 10 most professionally produced plays of 2009, boom explores the influences of fate versus randomness in the course of one's life, and life as we know it on the planet.

boom will feature B Street Acting Company members Peter Story as Jules and Jamie Jones as Barbara. B Street newcomer Sarah Aili will play the role of Jo. B Street Company member Michael Stevenson directs.
