Equus at Reid Castle, Manhattanville University

Equus is a psychic thriller by Peter Shaffer and winner of the Tony Award for Best Play, concerning a psychiatrist in the thralls of self-doubt as he treats a teenager who blinded six horses. The psychological detective story explores issues of identity, passion, worship, and the nature of normalcy. Terence Keyes portrays Dr. Martin Dysart and Jude Segrest plays Alan Strang, with Kimberely Lowden, Rich Evans, Candida Fink, Miguel Angel Acevedo, Gabriella Isabelle Castrobad, Hexcel Robinson, and Jax Agee rounding out the cast. The production is directed by Vincent Mraz and presented by DayStar Creations.
