Midwinter Dance Party to Feature DJ Extraordinaire Kidharlem at WCT
On Saturday, February 3, Westchester Collaborative Theater (WCT) will kick off the new season by inviting the community and WCT members to join them for a lively Midwinter Dance Party from 7:30 to 11:30 pm featuring DJ extraordinaire KidHarlem at WCT's black box performance space, 23 Water Street in downtown Ossining. Tickets are $20 at the door. Cash bar and refreshments.
Well-known throughout the metro area, KidHarlem plays a crowd-pleasing mix of hits from traditional rock favorites and R & B to pulsating West African Afrobeats and Caribbean dance music known as zouk. Listeners praise his agility and talent for 'getting a crowd moving like no one else.'
Sharon Rowe of WCT who helped organize the event says, "Get out of the cold and into the cool -this is just the time of year when we all need to kick our adrenalin back up into high gear and dance away the wintertime blues. And it's a great chance to support our vibrant local arts organization at the same time."
