Mary Haines thinks she has it all: loving husband, adorable children and a picture-perfect life. Until, that is, she finds out that her husband has been cheating on her with a saleswoman at Saks. First performed in the 1930s, The Women is still timely and vibrant, with strong, colorful, characters, a sharp supporting cast, and an abundance of witty dialogue. Juicy and full of fun, Luce's play presents women telling a story about how women are expected to play roles in a society that they did not create, and cannot control, in offices, salons, and their own lives.
