OCTET is a unique a cappella chamber musical by Dave Malloy that explores the complexities of modern connection in an age dominated by technology. Set against the backdrop of a mysterious 12-step meeting, the production features a talented cast including Damien Atkins, Alicia Ault, Andrew Broderick, Ben Carlson, Hailey Gillis, Zorana Sadiq, Jaqueline Thair, and Giles Tomkins. Directed by Chris Abraham, this Canadian premiere, co-produced by Crow's Theatre, Soulpepper Theatre, and The Musical Stage Company, invites audiences to reflect on how our online and offline selves intertwine. Through sharp insights and haunting harmonies, OCTET addresses the longing for connection in contemporary life.
