Placer Rep once again turns the Parkview Event Room into a black box theater to share an active stage reading of The Speckled Band, by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle to be performed by five early career to seasoned actors.
Placer Rep's adaptation, Sherlock Holmes: The Speckled Band is part mystery, part detective story with elements of romance and comedy punctuating the intrigue and action.
Placer Rep has even infused some of its signature interactivity into the play.
- In the first act, YOU, the audience, are the JURY at an inquest that opens the show!
T.S. Forsyth's adaptation maintains all that is wonderful about the original script, while enhancing and clarifying the language, characters and story for modern audiences.
