Slide Area Ahead is a compilation CD of tunes, played on National steel guitar, taken from Stephen's previous CDs. Many fans say their first exposure and attraction to steel guitar came from Stephen's artistry. He is one of the few performers who plays fingerstyle and uses slide, often in the same tune.
