A fun, lively and moving play for the courageous young person inside all of us... from the children's perspective! By Steven Dietz. Siblings Nate and Cora are forced to use Sim Camp: Wilderness 4.9, the latest update in a spectacular camping app, after their camping trip with their father falls apart. Their new friend Sydney, daughter of the psychic upstairs, and they "pretend camp" while banished to the basement. Imaginary friends, deceased relatives, and untold stories envelop the three while the adults sort out some mysteries of their own above. Companion piece to THE GREAT BEYOND, May 30-June 16. Both plays are set in the same house on the same evening on different levels. Both are independent and stand on their own. However, audiences will gain an even deeper understanding of the characters and storylines by experiencing both plays. Directed by Mia Self The Ghost of Splinter Cove was produced by The Children's Theatre of Charlotte and premiered at the Wells Fargo Playhouse in Charlotte, NC on May 22, 2019.
