Giselle la Trent the Gazellephant (book, music, and lyrics by Matthew Hager) tells the story of a fourth-grader name Giselle, who is half gazelle, half elephant, and 100% rockstar. But on her first day at Thomas Girafferson Elementary, the other kids aren't very fond of her, and their teacher, Ms. Pronunciation, is too worried about her own issues to sort things out. This funny and heart-filled story teaches us to all be kind in the face of adversity.
