Black Nativity Durham is a musical adaptation of Langston Hughes' Black Nativity produced by Wendell Tabb and Xavier Cason. Black Nativity is the African-American perspective of the Nativity story of the birth of Jesus Christ. The production is a soul-stiring show in two acts that takes place in the birth place of Jesus in act 1 and then the modern day church in act 2 of the show. Black Nativity Durham features over 100 artists and is one of the llargest productions of Black Nativity.
