TV: Eva Tavares of THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA National Tour
Coming back to the Durham Performing Arts Center from February 28th-March 11th is the new national touring production of The Phantom of the Opera! I recently had the great pleasure of interviewing actress Eva Tavares, who stars in the iconic role of Christine Daaé.
Tavares is a graduate of the UBC Opera Program and the Banff/Citadel Theatre Professional Training Program. Her previous credits include: Maria in West Side Story, Anne in A Little Night Music, and most recently, the world premiere Sousatzka starring Victoria Clark. Eva is also active in the dance community, most recently choreographing Die Fledermaus for Vancouver Opera.
