NWTW Founders' Showcase: Staged readings of two dynamic new works celebrate Northwest Theatre Workshop. Unmediated: Investigating a mysterious cult, reporter Hal Turnin mistrusts his instincts—and his sanity—in this quirky, darkly comedic thriller running 7 pm Saturday, Dec. 6 and 4:30 pm Sunday, Dec. 7. Written by Brad Bolchunos and directed by Ciji Guerin. Do That Dance: While celebrating their seventh wedding anniversary, Dan and Joan confront true-love’s ever-perplexing question: how do you keep dancing when, time and again, life changes the tune? A jazzy, poignant, romantic comedy running 7 pm Friday and Saturday, Dec. 12-13; and 4:30 pm Sunday Dec. 14. Book and lyrics by Wayne Harrel, Music by Craig Bidodno, and directed by Judy Straalsund.
