The Right Thing To Be Doing is a full-length solo work by returning Risk/Reward artist Sarah K. Finn, presented as part of the 2026 Risk/Reward Festival of New Performance at PICA. It is a lecture performance, fungal fantasy, and love story set at an ecology conference that keeps derailing. Finn shapeshifts between a cargo ship, a clown-academic, a mushroom, and themself, using wearable sculpture, immersive live sound, and storytelling to explore climate doom, complicity, and interconnection.
