Controlled Hallucination is a looping dance-theatre duet created and performed by Carla Mann and Suzanne Chi of PDX-BER Moves, presented as part of the 2026 Risk/Reward Festival of New Performance at PICA. The piece reconfigures memory, identity, and narrative with each iteration, shifting roles and realities across a surreal landscape. It is presented as an installation work, activating the PICA warehouse before the mainstage performance, during intermission, and after, running June 12–14.
