Classical Broadway at Historic Alberta House

Classical Broadway, presented by Ping & Woof Opera and the Northwest Piano Trio, reimagines beloved Broadway classics through a chamber music lens, featuring newly crafted arrangements by Portland composer Scot Crandal. The performance brings together soprano Jocelyn Claire Thomas, baritone Zach Lenox, violinist Esther Shim, cellist Hannah Hillebrand, and pianist Stephanie Smith. The concert bridges the worlds of opera, chamber music, and musical theater, offering familiar songs transformed with fresh textures and expressive nuance. Admission is donation-based and no tickets are required.
