THE BOOK OF MERMAN arrives in Portland this winter. No silly, not the Book of MORMON -- The BOOK OF MERMAN! (ETHEL!), featuring Amy Jo Halliday as Ethel Merman with Collin Carver as Elder Shumway and Will Shindler as Elder Braithwaite.

THE BOOK OF MERMAN has Book, Lyrics, Music by Leo Schwartz and will be directed by Donald Horn for triangle productions!, continuing their 26th season with this West Coast premiere.

THE BOOK OF MERMAN, a new musical comedy spoofs The Book of Mormon. When two Mormons ring a doorbell marked E. M. in a small town, they have no idea that a certain Ethel will open the door. With some dazzling parody music and Schwartz's original songs, THE BOOK OF MERMAN catapults you to places you didn't know you wanted to go!
