In this highly anticipated appearance, inventive dancer-illusionists MOMIX brings its breathtaking Botanica to Portland for one performance only. Botanica transports audiences to a fantasy world of surreal images and childlike wonder brought to life through athletic dance, riveting music, outrageous costumes, inventive props, puppetry and pure talent. The company evokes a vivid landscape populated by legendary choreographer Moses Pendleton's whimsical, fertile, and mythical imagination. Set to an eclectic score that ranges from birdsong to Vivaldi, Botanica reveals through MOMIX's signature illusionary style nature's changing imagery.
