The Littman Gallery welcomes guest Curator Jeff Jahn during the month of November with foreGround.

foreGround will address the often invisible but ever-present influence of geology in our lives and the way its different scales of time redefine our perception of the ground we live upon. This show explores our perceptions of geological permanence/resources, sidestepping the literal landscape to get at things hidden in plain view.

Featuring works by Zachary Davis, Arcy Douglass, Jacqueline Ehlis, Jim Neidhardt, Matthew Picton, and Ben Young.

Exhibition Dates are November 3rd- 23rd with a Reception on Saturday, November 5th 5-7p and an Artist Talk on November 12th 2:30p. Hours are 12 - 4p Monday- Saturday.

The Littman and White Galleries are student-run exhibition spaces at Portland State University. Our mission is to provide the tools for a critical experience of visual culture through direct exposure to a comprehensive program of contemporary art for students and community members.

The address is 1825 SW Broadway #250, Portland OR 97207. Reach by telephone at (503) 725-5656 or online at www.pdx.edu/littmanandwhite.
