In keeping with their mission to champion gender equality in the theater, off the WALL productions at Carnegie Stage is excited to welcome two new members to their management staff. Joining Artistic Director Virginia Wall Gruenert and Associate Artistic Director Erika Cuenca are Sara McCown as Managing Director, and Heidi Nagle as Operations & Production Manager. Heidi will also continue serving as off the WALL's Resident Stage Manager.

Next season features four Pittsburgh premieres in the Acting Company's five-play program, as well as an exciting new offering from fireWALL Dance Theater:

Based on the life of her mother, Ruth, Pittsburgh actor Linda Haston illustrates the discord, and ultimate acceptance, between strong, independent women bound by love and family.

An Accident by Lydia Stryk Oct. 14-29, 2016

Pittsburgh Premiere

A woman is run over and critically injured. The driver appears at her bedside, wracked with guilt. An Accident is a play about encounters in life that take you somewhere you've never been, and never meant to go.

4.48 Psychosis by Sarah Kane April 21-May 6, 2017

Before her untimely death in 1999, playwright Sarah Kane wrote what many consider her greatest play, 4.48 Psychosis. We are given insight into one particular case of clinical depression - a young woman who stands in the void between life and death.
